Corononavirus: CAC Transfiguration Zone obeys CAC Authority, puts on hold 2020 anniversary



…announces splitting of services at assemblies

In a bid to obey directives from the Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, and Lagos and Ogun States Governments' on religious gathering, CAC Transfiguration Zone has put on hold her forthcoming year 2020 anniversary. The anniversary which is billed to hold on Sunday 29th March, 2020 has been put on hold till further notice.



It would be recalled that the Authority of CAC Worldwide yesterday directed all CAC assemblies in Akinyele Region, that is, Lagos and Ogun States to split their services into two, three or more as the case may be. This is in order to comply
with both Lagos and Ogun States Governments' directives that religious gathering should not be more than 50 people in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.



According to information received from the Evangelical Outreach of Transfiguration Zone, signed by the Zonal Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi, the year 2020 anniversary has been put on hold while the preparation is still ongoing.



Pastor Odejobi urged those in charge of preparation for the anniversary not to rest on their oars but continue with the preparation. 


According to him, all Zonal programmes have been put on hold and are now to take place at Assembly levels.



While commenting on Sunday Services, the renowned Prophet and Evangelist stated that "Sunday services will now be in three phases. The Zonal headquarters at Ajuwon would be holding four services simultaneously in different auditorium within the compound. Services would hold in the Zonal headquarters auditorium, Power House and Conference Hall with different ministers from 9am to 12noon, while English assembly service holds from 7am to 9am."



Pastor Odejobi further said that "Pen Cinema Assembly will hold two services. First service will hold from 8am to 10am, while second service will hold from 10am to 12noon. In Santos District Headquarters, Abule-Egba, there will be two services as well. First service will be English from 8am to 10am, while second service will be Yoruba from 10am to 12noon."


"In Sango District Headquarters, two services will hold simultaneously from 9am to 12noon at upper and ground floors of the church. Meanwhile, other assemblies under the Zone will hold their services at their usual time and duration as their number may requires."



Pastor Odejobi noted that washing bay will be at entrances of all the assemblies under the zone with soaps and sanitizers for hand washing.
