Coronavirus: CAC New Covenant Assembly complies with directives of CAC Worldwide, to hold three services on Sundays

In compliance with the directive of the authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, CAC New Covenant Assembly, Iju-Isaga, Lagos, will from Sunday March 22, 2020 be holding three services.


It would be recalled that Authority of CAC Worldwide yesterday directed all CAC assemblies in Akinyele Region, that is, Lagos and Ogun States to split their services into two, three or more as the case may be. This is in order to comply with both Lagos and Ogun States Governments' directives that religious gathering should not be more than 50 people in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.




In a release signed by the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Assembly, Pastor Tope Dada, first service which is tagged youth service would hold from 7:30am to 9am, second Service from 9.30am-11:00am and third service from 11:30 to 1:00pm.



Pastor Tope Dada who is the Music Director of CAC Worldwide said in his exact words: "following the directives of the State Governments and the CAC General Secretariat Ibadan, we shall be having changes in our services at CAC New Covenant Assembly Lagos starting from this Sunday until further notice as follows:
1st Service (Youth) 7:30 to 9am
2nd Service 9.30am-11:00am
3rd Service 11:30 to 1:00pm."



He further stated that "all our services will be broadcast online. This is as a result of the current situation with global issues of Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in the country. The church has provided washing bay by the entrance to the church with soap and sanitizer for our usage. Everyone should keep to hygiene rules and follow directives. Further information will be communicated as events unfold."
