JABU's 10th Convocation: Governors Oyetola, Seyi Makinde bag Honorary Doctorate Degrees

Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has conferred the Governor of Osun State, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola and Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde
with Honorary Doctorate Degrees with all the rights and privileges attached thereto.



They were conferred at the 10th Convocation ceremony of JABU which was held today January 17, 2020 alongside other notable personalities like Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly,
Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Managing Director of Bovas Company Ltd., Mrs Victoria Samson and the Chairman of Chemstar Group of Companies, Lagos, Mr Emmanuel Aderemi Awode.

Meanwhile, 19 students of JABU received First Class Honours at the Convocation ceremony of the foremost entrepreneurial university.



A total number of 501 students were given first degree certificates across 23 undergraduate programmes of the institution while 27 students were awarded postgraduate certificates.



The graduands are 19 in the first class honours, 175 have second class honours upper grade, 225 second class honours lower grade and 82 have third class grade.



Another category of 27 students were awarded postgraduate certificates. Seven of them have postgraduate diploma certificates while the remaining 20 were awarded Masters degree certificates.
