Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Ayo, Ogbomoso DCC headquarters, Ogbomoso, Oyo State recently celebrated her 75th anniversary with Awards.
Posthumous awards were given to the founding fathers while other meritorious awards were given to former Chairmen of the DCC. Among the recipients of the meritorious awards are Pastor J.O Oyebamiji (Rtd), Pastor Okewoye (Rtd) and Pastor J.O Ogundare (Rtd). In the list of Posthumous awards are Prophet Akande (Baba Abiye), Late Elder J.A Adetutu, Late Elder Adeniyi and Late Elder Adegoke among others.
The occasion was used to dedicate the newly built DCC Superintendent's Lodge named Faith Castle and the DCC Cathedral.
On ground to grace the occasion are Pastor A.O Akinosun (CAC President), Pastor S.O Oladele (CAC General Superintendent), Pastor Mapur (CAC General Secretary), Chief Alao Akala (Former Governor Oyo State). Royal Fathers in attendance are Olugbon of Orilegbon, Onpetu of Ijeru, and the representative of The Soun of Ogbomoso Land amongst others.
Many Senior ministers of the gospel across denominations were in attendance and were hosted by the DCC Superintendent of Ogbomoso DCC, Pastor J.S. Adegoke.
The editorial crew of The Exploit Magazine were equally on ground.
"Christianity is the only religion of certainty of all religions." This assertion was made by Pastor Oladele, the General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide while ministering at the programme.
The cleric claim that of all gods only God, the living God, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve and believe can say and do whatever He says.
He added that; God is the most reliable, most dependable and the only power over all situations. His words are not mere prediction or empty promises, whatever He says is certain and provable, nothing about Him can be reviewed or upgraded. He is sufficient and relevant in all situations."
Pastor Oladele noted that as Christians we have assurance of what we are saying and doing because everything about gospel is certain.
