CAC Mount of Wonders Prayer centre holds annual Thanksgiving Service

By Racheal Oke

Christ Apostolic Church, Mount of Wonders Prayer Centre held her annual thanksgiving on Sunday 8th December, 2019.

The thanksgiving featured song ministration by the church choir, drama ministration by Pure Heaven Drama Ministry, family thanksgiving amongst many other powerful sessions.

While leading the congregation in thanksgiving to God, the assembly pastor, Pastor C. D. Revelation, recounted the past years of the church stating that even though the church was not there yet, he is still greatful to God for how far He has helped them by adding to them both in numbers and in facilities.

Exhorting the church on the theme "Harvest time" as stated in Genesis chapter 8 verse 22, Pastor Revelations emphasized that the seedtime and harvest time will never cease in the house of God.

According to him, those who attach themselves to the word of God on sowing will enjoy blessings that are different from that of the world as they belong to the commonwealth of Christ.

"To separate yourself from seed sowing is to separate yourself from the word of God; and whoever separates himself from the word of God will continue to depreciate. Those who obey the word of God on sowing become members of the commonwealth of God; they do not live on the economy of the nations. So, when people say there is a casting down, they are saying that there is a lifting up because they do not live by the economy of the nation and because they are members of God's commonwealth," the Cleric said.

He therefore advised members to support church leaders in church growth.

"The church should continue to play her role, the members of the church should support the work in the church; they should support the leaders to walk towards where the Lord is leading the church. The blessings and the harvest time of God shall not cease; we will continue to plant and harvest in the church of God." he said.

He added that ministers should not leave the work of sowing to members alone, rather they should also engage in sowing unto God as this will also bring about harvest for the ministers.

The chairman of the anniversary committee, Elder Samuel Oladipo, in his closing remarks, expressed his profound gratitude to the church for making him the chairman of the anniversary committee.

According to him, he sees it not just as a privilege but as an opportunity to serve God more.

He therefore advised the church to diligently serve God till Jesus' coming as He has instructed in His word.
