CAC Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife unveils activities for 38th Convocation Ceremony

Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS) main campus, Opa, Ile-Ife, Osun State, is set to hold her 38th Convocation Ceremony.



In a Press Release obtained by CAC NEWS the Seminary says: "The Provost, Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Pastor Stephen O.A. Afolabi, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Students’ Body and Congregation, cordially invites all stakeholders and the general public to the 38th Convocation Ceremony of the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Ile Ife. This year’s celebration is a unique one as the institution celebrates her Ruby Jubilee, that is, forty (40) years of providing theological education in Nigeria and outside the shores of Nigeria,"



"Although, the establishment of the School as Bible Training College (BTC) by the authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide can be traced to 1952, it was made a “Theological Seminary” in the year 1979. The Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary is now an affiliate of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji Arakeji."




As part of activities to commemorate the convocation ceremony, there will be 8th Convocation Lecture on  Monday, November 18, 2019 by 10am. The National Sunday School Director, CAC Worldwide, Pastor S.O. Aluko will lecture on the topic "CACTS, 40 Years of Providing Theological Education in Nigeria: Impact, Challenges and the Way Forward."



"Spouses' Seminar" will hold on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 by 10am and Mrs. F.O. Famuyide is expected to lecture on the topic "Effective Ways of Mediating Diverse Domestic Conflicts in the Vicarage."




On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, the Chairman, CACTS Alumni Association who is also the Regional Superintendent of Babajide Region, Pastor M.A. Ogundeji will lecture at a programme tagged "Field Ministerial Experience" on the topic "Coping with Difficult Coworkers and Individuals in the Ministry" by 10am.



A soccer match is scheduled for
Thursday, November 21, 2019 by 12noon between CACTS (Main Campus), Ile Ife and CACTS, Ilesa (Ilesa Satellite Campus) - Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists, while Banquet holds on same day by 3pm and the guest speaker is the Provost, CACTS, Pastor S.O.A. Afolabi.

The 38th Convocation Ceremony will hold on Friday, November 22, 2019 by 10am. The President of CAC, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham O. Akinosun is expected to lead other principal officers of the church to the programme.



All events slated above shall hold at the Main Campus premises located at Opa, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The management of the school therefore covets the prayers of all children of God for the success of the programmes.
