CAC Love of God Zonal headquarters celebrates 55th Choir Festival

It was another evening of undiluted praise as the choir and orchestra of CAC Miracle Centre, Love of God Zonal headquarters, Mushin, Lagos celebrated her 55th choir festival worshipping the Creator of the universe with their voices, violins, drumset, organ, bell, trombone, tuba, trumpet and many more musical instruments.



The programme that was themed “Let the People Praise Thee” (Psalm 67:3) commenced at about 4:30pm, on the 10th of November, 2019.



Among the ministers and invited guests who graced the occasion are the Zonal Superintendent, Temidire Onajimi Zone, Pastor J. Ayo Daramola; Pastor Seye Adebiyi, Pastor J. Ibisanmi, Pastor Kelvin Mark, Ezekiel Babalola, Jibola and Lekan Oluyelu, Band of Orchestra and many more.



The Choir and Band of Orchestra ministered in various melodious songs like Lead me Lord (from ‘praise the Lord, o my soul by Samuel S. Wesley), chant: psalm 150, I will call upon the Lord (extract from 12th mass by Mozart), Holy holy holy Lord Almighty (extract from 12th mass by Mozart), Fun wa ni Ayo (words and music by Rotimi Oyebanji), the Glory Special (Negro spiritual) by Mrs. J. W. Payte, E fi iyin fun Oluwa by Deola Amudipe, Imole de by Dunsin Oyekan, Burdens are lifted at Calvary by John M. Moore, Olu Ayo by Ayo Oluranti, Glorious is thy name Almighty God (from 12th mass by Mozart), Emi a dupe by Gbenga Komolafe and Hallelujah Chorus/ hallelujah amen by G. F Handel.



Praises bring God into one's situation– Pastor Daramola


While giving a brief word of exhortation at the programme, the Zonal Superintendent, Temidire Onajimi Zone, Pastor J. Ayo Daramola noted that when praise is offered to God, it automatically brings God into one's situation.




He explained that praising God is a lifestyle every Christian must imbibe.



He expressed his concern on how churches today take praise and worship.



He said “in most churches today, praise and worship session is an avenue for whiling away time; as they use that period to wait for members to arrive.



He concluded his charge encouraging the members to praise God even as they render their supplications to him.
