The Authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, has inaugurated Ifon Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) and inducted Pastor Ben A. Olatoye as the pioneer DCC Superintendent.

The church Authority was ably represented by the Regional Superintendent of CAC Odubanjo Region, Pastor D.I.O. Edoh who inaugurated the DCC and inducted the DCC Superintendent.

Ifon DCC comprises seven Districts which include Oke-Isegun District, Elegbeka District, Owan District, Oke-Ayo District, Imoru District, Sobe District and Ikaro District.

While ministering at the programme, the Regional Superintendent of Odubanjo Region, Pastor D.I.O Edoh told the new DCC Superintendent that God has elevated him in order to care for His sheep.

Pastor Edoh, who noted that experience in the ministry taught him that every position has its responsibility, said Pastor Olatoye must do the work with honesty and fear of God.

The Cleric said many ministers want positions without the readiness to work, stating that work or responsibilities are attached to every position one attains.

"Ministerial work is different from secular work. If you want God's manifestation in your ministry, you need to separate yourself from sin and be holy. Many are serving God with sin. Love of money and women have turned many Pastors away from God," Pastor Edoh said.

He further urged Pastor Olatoye to be a prayer warrior and be merciful in his ministerial assignment.

According to him, all Ministers must be able to take care of the aged ones and widows in their church.

"You must be humble. Don't be proud. This is what will make members of the church  cooperate with you. You must dedicate yourself to soulwinning. If you want the DCC to grow, you need to dedicate yourself to soulwinning," Pastor Edoh told Pastor Olatoye.

Every member of the DCC, according to him has a duty in moving the DCC forward, without the church members performing their duties, the Pastor cannot succeed.

"As church members, it is your duty to pray for your Pastor and respect him irrespective of your pedigree," he concluded.

Ifon DCC Secretary, Elder Amos Akinola Okinbaloye, described Pastor Olatoye as a honest, very industrious, absoluty gentle and a conscientious man of character who is committed to the work of God beyond every imagination.

He further stated that Pastor Olatoye is generous, a man of integrity and a lover of Christ and an epitome of the description of who a father is.

"I will like to place on record the unalloyed cooperation and support we enjoyed from members in the Districts under this DCC, various assemblies and the ministers of God. I would like to commend the effort of the Inauguration and Unduction Planning Committee members. God has helped you again for the good and successful planning of this remarkable celebration," Elder Okinbaloye said.
