The General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Pastor Samuel O. Oladele has said that Christianity is not about unionism, but about standing alone for Christ and doing the right thing.

He noted that for Scriptures to be fulfilled believers must determine to stand alone for Christ not joining unionism.

Pastor Oladele stated this while delivering the Final Charge at the just concluded 2019 Pastors Conference on the theme "That the Scriptures Must be Fulfilled."

He noted told the Pastors that they need to learn from Samson who stood alone in his generation and defeated the Philistines.

He added that "there is no difference between gospel musicians', dressing and dancing of Christians with that of the world.

He also stated that Prophet Micaiah stood alone for God as a preacher of the truth, urging minsters of God to dish out the truth of God without prejudice.

"The carnal man in the church will always want to strike the faithful ones. So, it involves suffering to stand for the truth. We may be put in prison like Apostle Paul for standing for the truth. Paul was imprisoned but the word of God was not imprisoned. The word of God had always announced the obituary of those opposed it. You may burn the Bible, but you can't burn the word of God," Pastor Oladele said.

The General Superintendent condemned the partial acceptance of the worldly system and ways of doing things in the church.
