The Choir of Christ Apostolic Church, Transfiguration, Abule-Egba, Santos District headquarters on Monday August 11, 2019 held a power packed programme tagged "Praise: A Channel of Victory."
It was indeed six hours of encounter with the Holy Spirit through spirit filled classical and contemporary praise songs of victory.
The choir in their beautiful attire took the congregation on a journey of inspiring songs which are basically rendered to appreciate God for victory we have through Christ and His unquantifiable love.
Zonal Superintendent of CAC Transfiguration Zone, Pastor Emmanuel O. Odejobi while preaching at the programme said there are three ingredients that must be added in a delicacy of praise that will bring victory while praising God.
Pastor Odejobi said walking in the path of fathers of faith is the first ingredient one must add before praising God can yield a victorious result.
The renowned Prophet noted that having the fear of God as Christians is the second ingredient, adding that; “when you fear God, you won't have to fear any evil, but when you don't fear God you will forever live in fear.”
Concluding his charge at the praise programme, Pastor Odejobi also said that self denial is a way of attracting the presence of God which involves fasting and prayer.
