In a bid eradicate the present high level of suicide in the country, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) department of Christ Apostolic Church, Chapel of Praise, Apatapiti, Akure, Ondo state recently held a programme on prevention of suicide in the country.

Pastor Professor Judah Oluwatimilehin , a Professor of Counselling Psychology explained that instead of committing suicide, an individual should rather speak up and the listener/counsellor.
He further added that the counsellor should be sympathetic, offer hope and never argue with the suicidal person.
The programme had different prayers sessions which was base on the theme.
