299 graduate, as CAC Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists holds 26th Convocation Ceremony

Christ Apostolic Church, Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists (CACTS Ilesa Campus) at the weekend held its 26thconvocation ceremony and graduated 299 students.


The convocation ceremony was held at the school’s permanent site, CAC Convention Ground, Imose-area, Ilesa, Osun state.


Out of 22 students that graduated in the degree programme, two students graduated with first Class Upper,  16 graduated with Second Class Upper, three graduated with second class lower and one with merit. Also, in the Diploma programme, 22 students graduated with Upper Credit, 59 students with Lower Credit and six with Merit.



Similarly, in the Certificate programme, 18 students graduated with Upper Credit, 113 with Lower Credit and 59 students with Merit.


While delivering his speech, the Provost, CAC Theological Seminary, Pastor Stephen O.A. Afolabi said the graduands have succeeded in joining the lucky ones in the world of intellectual, urging them not to start feeling fulfilled.


He urged them not to rest on their oars but forge ahead to update themselves in order not to be outdated and then fossilized.


The Chairman, CAC Theological Seminary Governing Council, Pastor E.S. Famiyide urged the graduands not to pass through the institution alone, but allow the institution to pass through them.


Pastor Famuyide further implored the graduands to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, saying that they should preach the gospel without adulteration or sentiment.


The Cleric also advised the graduands to pray like the Apostles of the old and CAC founding fathers.


He added that they should be innovative, should not follow unnecessary tradition that are baseless in the scripture, adding that they should be a family Minister, and be heavenly focused.
