"By God's guiding and amazing grace, Christ Apostolic Church Chapel of Testimony has lived up to her name in these past 20 years," the Minister in Charge of CAC Chapel of Testimony, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde, has said.

Pastor Babatunde who stated this while delivering his welcome address at the 20th anniversary celebration of the church today Sunday December 9, 2018 said that the church has been in historical motions and movements under the heavy influence of Holy Ghost guidance.

He revealed that the church started from a friend's compound in Obanikoro area and later moved to a member's one room apartment, to a rented open land space at Costain bus stop, from there to another rented open space at Shonola street off Apapa Road, from there to 85, Apapa Road, Ebute-Meta West before finally settled at their current worship centre which is at 1, Daodu lane, Ilogbo bus stop Ebute-Metta Lagos.

"The sheer sight of the church building sharing a fence with a major traditional shrine in Lagos was a put-off; but we were left with no choice. It soon dawned on us that the Lord has rail-roaded us here for a purpose."

"Though the church auditorium was situated at the upper floor, the dense plume of marijuana smoke by the ever-growing army of criminals elements was a constant air pollutant. Gun shots, police raids, sudden escalation of violence, horrors of bloodletting and attendant fatalities were constant decimals. Sounds like a tale of horror movie right? Truth is, our survival as a church through that period is a miracle. Like the ferns of palm fronds in the midst of threatening spikes, the Lord has been good to us," Pastor Babatunde explained.

The Cleric noted that though the battle has been very touch, they are overcoming, saying that though the hosts of darkness have often regrouped sooner as they are scattered, yet, they have been massively neutralized.
