As part of its effort to unit the youth of the church in North America, Christ Apostolic Church North America Youth and Young Adult Ministry recently held a programme tagged "One CAC Day."
CAC North America (Latunde Region) Youth Coordinator, Pastor Adekunmi Browne told CAC NEWS that the objective behind #ONECACDAY is to echo the message of oneness in the body of Christ in North America.
He said what they have identified in North America is that many youths of the church in various assemblies don’t know one another.
Pastor Browne further revealed that; "we used this vehicle of #ONECACDAY to helped bridge that gap. What we did at our 2018 Summer Convention was to explain our vision of oneness to the entire CAC North America Latunde Region. We followed the explanation up by selling our #ONECAC shirts to the entire convention both young and old. We sold almost 500 shirts in two days, then sold over 500 again through online orders. CAC North America responded extremely well to the call of Oneness by the grace of God and we hope to celebrate more #ONECACDAYS in 2019."
According to him the aim of Oneness has been achieved but they are not stopping there.
He added that; "We want to keep highlighting the oneness to ensure that it becomes a part of who we are. We want to be our brothers keeper. We do not want to be divided either on purpose or by mistake. We want to remove the walls that divide us by the power of the Holy Spirit and develop a longing for one another, an intensified love like the Bible’s says in Acts 4:32."
The Cleric revealed that the
#CACONEDAY was a unified effort that was done in almost every assembly in North America, emphasizing that; " by the grace of God that Sunday every body both young and old wore there #CACONE t-shirts to their individual churches and the youth were in charge all over North America and we all preached from the same scripture Acts 2:42."
"Apart from the sermons we all shared in common all over North America we had praise service on that day as well as testimony. We give God the Glory for what is happening in CACNA. We are determined to go deeper and do greater exploits in the Lord as He gives us the strength," he concluded.
