Parents have been advised not to handle parenting their children with levity, but train them up in the way of the Lord.
An Associate Pastor at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Igan English Assembly, Akure Ondo State, Pastor Titilayo Femi Kings noted this recently while ministering at CAC Itire Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters Lagos.
Pastor Kings said if our nation will be great then parenting should not be handled with levity, stating emphatically that every evil we see in our nation today is being carried out by children from particular homes.
According to him, parenting cannot be fluked, it demands conscious efforts, commitment and worthy investment.
"No child was born wayward, it's either the parents were careless or the negative societal influence outweighed their own influence.
All parents can still arise and win back their children no matter how bad the situation is," he said.
