Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Igbala Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters, Ketu Lagos on Sunday November 18, 2018 held send-forth service for Pastor Samuel Olu Oladele.

Pastor Oladele who was ordained in 2015 was transferred to the English Assembly of CAC Akinyele Regional headquarters, Ebute Elefun, Lagos after his meritorious service at Oke Igbala DCC headquarters.

While delivering farewell message, the church secretary of CAC Oke Igbala DCC headquarters, Elder (Barr.) Akin Adepoju said Pastor Oladele started as a young Sunday School teacher in the assembly in 1998, noting that from there he became a member of the choir where he demonstrated his godly gifts to bring innovation to the choir.

He further stated that after Pastor Oladele obtained his first degree, he was confronted with the option of doing secular job or taking up ministerial duty, explaining that by the leading of God, he opted for the latter and then proceeded to the CAC Seminary between 2011 and 2013, adding that upon his graduation, he was posted to the church as an Evangelist.

"As an Evangelist, he served in many committees of the church where he performed excellently. It was therefore not a surprise when he was recommended for pastoral training at Ikeji-Arakeji."

"He was ordained as a Pastor in 2015 and retained in our assembly as a minister. As a minister, Pastor Oladele used his God given talents for the spiritual growth of the church. He was nominated to various committee of the church. He was the visioner of the strategy committee, workers anniversary committee and worked with others to remodel the family service from a biannual to quarter service."

"Pastor Oladele was a key person in getting the church ministers trained in IT proficiency programme a few  years ago leading the church into providing laptop for each minister. While in our Assembly, Pastor Oladele was very hardworking, resourceful, vibrant, diligent, reliable and always ready to accept whatever responsibility was entrusted to him. He is a good  teacher, master of songs and writer. Before he left our Assembly he wrote a book titled: " Standard of Christian Living."

"No wonder, when the board of elders and the church  learnt of his transfer from our assembly, there was an initial resistance. Though on his part, he took the transfer as a further call to service. The board of elders felt that the vacuum he would create would be difficult to fill," he said.

Elder Adepoju further stated that; "the church has however accepted the fact that his transfer is a call to greater service for Akinyele Region and CAC worldwide. We are proud  and give glory to God that one of our own was considered suitable for His great responsibilities."

"At this juncture, we cannot also but recognize and appreciate our dear Sister and Mother, Mrs. Monisola Oladele for the love, support and complimentary role she played. She was also an asset to the Youth Church, the Sunday School Department and the church at large."
