The Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Somolu Olaleye, Lagos Pastor J.O. Akinyomi has stated that the 100th anniversary of the church is no doubt worth celebrating.

Pastor Akinyomi told CAC NEWS that "I bless the name of the Lord that He counted me worthy to witness the 100 years of CAC  our great mission. Celebrating 100 years of our church CAC is worth celebrating because God of our fathers uphold this church for the past 100 years. Despite all the persecution the church face from inception and the storm that raged against the church since the past 29 years, still the church is waxing stronger."

"CAC is a covenant church, Christ centered, Bible believing church and prayer make her unique. CAC is not a man founder Church like many indigenous churches in Nigeria. No man can claim he is the founder of CAC, but as the Lord moved through the group of people to start praying gave birth to this mission. The leadership or headship of CAC is different from others where there is one General Overseer. Our administration is unique. Only CAC allow her members and ministers to use their gifts without hindrance. You are allow to plant church for the Lord in CAC which is not found or allowed in other pentecostal, evangelical and mainline churches."

"In CAC assemblies are only to pay tithes of their income to the mission treasury while other pentecostal churches remit all income to the centre. CAC is a church that prepare people for heaven."
