A renowned gospel singer, Pastor J.A. Adelakun popularly known as “Ayewa” has said that Music Ministers are the number one target of the devil.
The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Mercyland District who stated this on Monday September 10, 2018 while ministering on the topic “The Masters’ Call” stated that Music Ministers are the one who have occupied the initial position of the devil and that is why he has made Music Ministers his number one target.
He urged Music Ministers not to live their lives anyhow, saying that they are not entertainers, but Ministers of God.
According to him, music ministry is the rope that tight all the five folds of ministry, adding that no Prophet or Pastor can minister without the choir.
Pastor Adelakun stated that everybody can sing, but it is only the anointed that can lead people into the presence of God.
“The Maters’ Call is a call to deeper devotion. God wants us to have a cordial relationship with Him. Holy Spirit must be your source as He was the secret of the success of the Apostles. You need the Holy Spirit to help you to meet up with the standard of God. Music ministry carries pride. If you are not filled with the spirit of God, you can’t attain the standard of God. The Masters’ Call is a call unto holiness. You must desire to live a holy life. If the spirit of God is in you, it will give your life a change,” the Cleric explained.
