The foremost and reliable source of information for members and lovers of Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, CAC NEWS today August 29, 2018 celebrates first anniversary.
CAC NEWS formally started operation on Wednesday August 29, 2017 with the aim to bridge the gap of inadequate information in CAC Worldwide and keep the members abreast of the latest information about church.
The platform also disseminates information about the higher institution of CAC which is Joseph Ayo Babalola University, the campus fellowships of the church in all the higher institutions across the globe and personalities in the church among others.
The Publisher of CAC NEWS 'Gbenga Bankole in a statement said it has been one year of God's faithfulness.
While explaining how everything started, Bankole said, "I was praying during the 2017 new year crossover service for an idea that will announce Christ in me to the world when I heard God spoke to me that I should start an online platform that will be disseminating information about CAC Worldwide. Indeed I was happy because the idea was an answer to my prayers of many years. I want to be relevant for God in this generation, particularly in CAC Worldwide."
"The passion to start CAC NEWS was there but I didn't take any step due to financial challenges. However, God ministered to me when I was at a programme in August last year that if I didn't start the online platform, I will wake up one day to discover someone else has started it. Immediately I began to think on people I can meet for assistance in terms of advice and capital."
"I shared the vision with Fathers in the Lord like Pastor I.T. Ariyo, Pastor Gabriel Owolagbon and Pastor Olu Olorunpomi who embraced it and encouraged me to make the vision a reality. Later on I met with the Chairman of Ikeji III Planning Committee, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde and the DCC Superintendent of CAC Ebute-Metta DCC, Pastor Gbenga Adelusi to share the vision with them and asked for their assistance. God used both of them for CAC NEWS, particularly Pastor Babatunde. CAC NEWS is God's doing, it beyond human comprehension."
Bankole appreciated everyone who has contributed their quota to CAC NEWS, praying that God will reward them abundantly.
He also thanked all CAC NEWS Volunteer Editors, Volunteer Reporters, Columnists and Contributors.
According to him, CAC NEWS Facebook page as at today has 7377 LIKES and 7499 followers.
"On Twitter we have 83 followers (@CACWORLDNEWS), we have three robust WhatsApp groups and an Instagram page. All to the glory of God," he explained.
