Peace at Last! CAC Factions to hold joint youth conference

The long awaited unification of Christ
Apostolic Church Worldwide has undoubtedly started from the youth department of the mission.



This is because plans are ongoing to make sure the two factions of the church, the General Executive Council (GEC) an Supreme Council hold joint youth conference this year.



The Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide (General Executive Council faction), Pastor Sam Gbuyiro told CAC NEWS that the representatives of the two factions met at the CAC Secretariat in Ibadan on Wednesday 2nd of May, 2018  for a unity meeting which will make them hold joint youth conference this year.



He noted that it was resolved at the end of the meeting that the youth conference this year will be held together.




CAC NEWS authoritatively gathered that  some selected few numbers of the youth department were invited from both sides for a joint meeting to agree on modality for planning this year youth conference together as a gradual steps towards coming together as one CAC.


The meeting was with the appointed committee set by both sides. The committee comprises of the General Secretary of CAC Worldwide (General Executive Council), Pastor E.E Mapur, the Supreme Council General Secretary, Finance Director of the General Council, Pastor J.F Omitinde, and Pastor Onagua from Supreme Council who double as the committee member and their youth leader.


Other notable names at the meeting are General Council Youth Officer, Pastor Sam Gbuyiro, Assistant Youth Officer,Pastor Oke, Pastor  Aladejana, Pastor Bunmi Babatunde, Pastor Alowolodu, Pastor Akinpelu I.D.O, Yaba DCC Superintendent, Pastor S.E.A Oludare, Idimu DCC Superintendent, Pastor Ojoborun and Pastor Paul Adeoloye among others.



It was gathered that a joint theme was agreed upon just like Sunday School department of both sides and Pastors' conference planning committee for both sides.


Four members from each side were selected based on proximity to deliberate on our behalf on other things like venue, logistics and other things.
