The Youth Officer of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Sam Gbuyiro has urged every member of the church not to only seek to experience the miracle of the God of our fathers, but also to know the God they served.
He noted that it is only Elisa that know the God of Elija that can enjoy the God of Elija.
Pastor Gbuyiro who stated this yesterday while giving word of exhortation at the ongoing annual Odo Owa Holy Pilgrimage at Odo Owa Kwara State said that a carnal person cannot continue what a spiritual person started, saying that it is possible for someone to experience the miracle of the God of our fathers, without knowing the God.
While speaking on why every member of CAC must know the God of our fathers, Pastor Gbuyiro said; "there are four major reasons why we need to know the God of our fathers. Firstly, we need to know the God they served because it is only those who know their God that can operate under the covenant God had with them. Secondly, the only way prophecies about CAC can come to fulfillment is for us to know the God of our fathers. Furthermore, it is only those that know the God of our fathers that can fit in into His agenda for this generation. Also, knowing the God of our fathers is the only way to keep the vision of our fathers alive."
The Cleric said that CAC exists today because of the covenant God had with our fathers, adding that Nigeria, Africa and the world at large is waiting to hear from us the way our fathers spoke.
According to him, those days when our fathers speak, no one was able to challenge their authority, noting that the God of our fathers is never tired of speaking.
"The vision of our fathers was to gain the kingdom of the world for Christ and that was why things of this world was nothing to them. To keep this vision alive, we must know the God they served," he concluded.
