Christ Apostolic Church, Amuwo Odofin Districts Coordinating Council (DCC), Festac Lagos, took the former Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Joe Jacobs by surprise with world class heroes welcome on Thursday 17th January, 2018.
Pastor Joe as he is fondly called was transferred by the authority of CAC Worldwide as the DCC Superintendent to replace Pastor Gideon Obiwale who was transferred to Latona DCC, Osun state
As early as 8am, some members of the church and Pastors under Amuwo Odofin DCC were already in church waiting for the arrival of the renowned Cleric. The members were made up of the women, CACMA and youth.
The pupils of CAC Amuwo Odofin Primary school were not left out. They were ready with their songs and well coordinated welcome parade.
Immediately Pastor Joe arrived Second Random Bus-Stop, a 15minutes drives from CAC Amuwo Odofin DCC worship centre, the church send a delegate to welcome him from there and lead him and his entourage from Ibadan to their church.
Few minutes later, Pastor Joe and his entourage from Ibadan lead by the church delegate entered the church Street. It was like the day Jesus Christ entered into Galilee. The media being led by CAC NEWS started taking necessary pictures and shot.
The pupils of the church primary school welcomed him to the compound of the church with their songs and parade.
Pastor Joe came down from his car being flanked by his pretty wife and some members of his assembly in CAC House of Judah in Ibadan.
A four year old girl presented him a bouquet of honour which he received with great joy and enthusiasm.
He was led to the church auditorium by other clerics in Amuwo Odofin DCC.
Amuwo Odofin DCC Secretary, Pastor M.O Balogun while delivering the welcome address said that they thank God for granting their new DCC Superintendent, Pastor Joe and his entourage journey mercy from Ibadan to Festac.
He noted that the day was historical to them as they welcome the 4th DCC Superintendent since Amuwo-Odofin started as zone.
" The DCC consist of 11 viable districts through the help of God, unity and genuine love among the DCC Superintendent and all the members of the DCC. This DCC is one of the top DCCs in CAC Worldwide. It's our great believe that as you have come, God will work with you as God worked with the Apostles and your predecessor", He added.
Pastor Balogun said Amuwo Odofin DCC is ready to give Pastor Joe 100 percent cooperation to move the DCC forward.
According to him, they are happy to see him, work with him for the development and growth of God's work.
While speaking to the church, Pastor Joe expressed his gratitude and appreciate the church for their heart of love.
