Christians all over the world have been urged to abandon devil or family principles and imbibe Christ's principle.

The Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Iyanu Ketu 1 Zonal Headquarters, Pastor I.O. Ajayi said this yesterday while preaching on the theme "Jesus' Principles" at the 45th anniversary of the church.

Pastor Ajayi who defined principle as  what individual believe either wrong or right said that every Christian need to exhibit the principle of simplicity like Christ did during His earthly ministry.

He noted that Jesus Christ identified with everyone and their problems, saying that it is essential for Christains to be simple children of God not difficult to deal with.

He said as a Christian, your door must be opened to people like Jesus, adding that Jesus demonstrated this when He said "let all little children come to me."

"The second principle that all Christians must imbibe is the principle of servanthood. Jesus Christ came to serve the world and He is still serving till now. How many people have you helped? How many people have you assisted this year? You should be a practical Christian not by word of mouth. You must put your Christianity in indeed," he said.

According to Pastor Ajayi, another principle that Christian must imbibe is the principle of sincerity, adding that many Christians today are not faithful or sincere but are filled with hypocrisy and liars.

He said that our forefathers in CAC operated on the principle of sincerity, stressing that Christians need to be sincere to themselves and people around them.

He further stated that; "The fourth principle Jesus exhibited is the principle of separation. Jesus separated Himself while on earth. He never engaged in sin. He was focus on what he came to do on earth. As a Christian you need to separate yourself and live a life that Christ will be happy with."

While delivering the welcome address at the anniversary, the Church Secretary, Elder Dele Aluko officially welcomed the Zonal Superintendent of the zone, Pastor I.O. Ajayi who was just transferred to the zone some months ago.

He said that year 2017 was indeed a challenging year, adding that they thank God for His mercy.

He concluded by thanking all the church members for their support all through the year, advising them to imbibe the life of Christ.
