Prophet Abiara’s birthday, retirement celebration starts this month

The birthday and retirement ceremony of the world famous Evangelist and the immediate past General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Prophet S.K. Abiara will commence on November 27 and end on December 3rd2017.


Prophet Abiara stated this recently in an interview with Nigerian Tribune.

He said that there are plans in the pipeline to invite notable men of God, and dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate God’s goodness in my his life.

According to Prophet Abiara, it will be a week-long event, will commence from November 27 and the grand finale will be on December 3.

“The celebration of my birthday and retirement is a way to gather people to celebrate God in my life and I am looking forward to an event full of heavenly praises. Plans are in the pipeline to invite notable men of God, and dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate God’s goodness in my life. It will be a week-long event, which by God’s grace, will commence from November 27 and the grand finale will be on December 3. It is a special event designed to celebrate God for His grace upon my life. The event will also feature the launch of my biography,” he said.

Prophet Abiara was born on August 8, 1942 at Erinmo-Ijesa, Osun State.  He had his primary education at Saint Peter’s Anglican School, Erinmo-Ijesa between 1949 and 1954.  He attended CAC Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife, Osun State in 1982.  He furthered his theological training at Saint John University Mission, Luciana, USA in 1986 and Internatonal Bible Institute and Seminary, Florida, USA in 1987.

He was called into the ministry of evangelism in 1963.  Prior to his call, He worked as a Casual Worker for various construction companies within Erinmo-Ijesa between 1953 and 1959; Office Clerk, J. A. Agoro General Merchant, Ibadan in 1959 (who later became a great help to him in his ministerial calling).  As a Clergy, he founded CAC Agbala-Itura (Worldwide) in 1963 and has since founded its branches all over the world.  He founded Christ International Evangelical Ministry (an interdenominational evangelical group) in 1984; Christ International Divinity College (an affiliate of Acadia University, Canada) in 1986 (of which he became its Chancellor).  He rose to the rank of Deputy General Evangelist (DGE) in Christ Apostolic Church (Worldwide) in 1998.

He was appointed the General Evangelist, CAC (Worldwide) in December, 2006 and officially retired few months ago. He was succeeded by Prophet Hezekiah Oluboye, the founder of CAC Canaan Land.
