Preaching the gospel has been described as one of the greatest ways Christians all over the world can give glory to God as a mark and fruit of true devotion.
The Zonal Suprietendent of Life and Power Zone, Pastor Mich Oladapo made this known while delivering the second lecture on the topic "Marks and Fruits of Devotion" at the ongoing 24th CAC Annual Youth Conference at Ikeji-Araji, Osun State.
Pastor Oladapo said the message of the gospel radiates the glory of God like nothing else in the entire universe, adding that when we declare the gospel, we are declaring the clearest and most powerful aspect of God's glory.
According to him, witnessing for Christ is one of the highest and purest forms of worship, because it most clearly affirms the glory of God.
He also said that one of the marks and fruits of a true devotion is preoccupied with the glory of God.
"The devoted and committed Christians is preoccupied and absorbed with his Lord's glory. The very purpose for which we exist is to give glory to God, so it is right that this is the first mark of a devoted and committed Christian," he stated.
He noted that not only is the committed disciple preoccupied with his Lord's glory, but he also is filled with His love, adding that distinguishing mark of the devoted and committed Christian is the most significant of all in terms of practical living.
